IT'S official: LeBron James has a new shoe as the NBA superstar unveiled his 15th signature sneaker with Nike on Friday.

Following speculations and leaked photos online, James himself posted a photo of the Nike LeBron 15 in the 'Ghost' colorway on his Instagram account.

"O My Goodness!!! #LeBron15 #GhostColorway. I can't be more excited about these kicks man!! I'm overly excited about this moment right now in time! More to come soon," James wrote on the caption of his post with the hashtags #striveforgreatness #WeAreBack

The new signature sneakers of the four-time NBA MVP is strikingly different, as it features what a report from Weartesters.com reported as 'Battleknit' upper, perhaps an upgrade of Nike's Flyknit tech. As for cushioning, it also has BattleMax tech, which looks like thicker version of the Max Zoom version found on the Nike KD signature line.

Also conspicuously absent is the Swooshless design as Nike's trademark Swoosh is noticeably absent on the upper of the shoe.

The Nike LeBron 15 is reportedly set for global release on October in time for the new NBA season.
